Psalm 45 - The Incarnation - The Incarnate King

On this 3rd Sunday of Advent, Rev. Dan Quakkelaar continue our consideration of Christ’s incarnation as we look at Psalm 45. Not only is Psalm 45 a song of Israel, it is a passionate love song, at least, that’s the immediate reference. Isaiah 7:1-16 - The Incarnation - God's Presence

On this 2nd Sunday of Advent, Rev. Chris Vogel continues our consideration of Christ’s incarnation and looks at Isaiah 7:1-14. In light of a broken world, fear and anxiety too often typify our response. The answer the prophet Isaiah gave to King Ahaz is the answer for us today, the virgin will conceive and bear a son whose name is Immanuel. God’s presence in Jesus Christ assures us to trust despite the fearful world and moves us to find our rest in Him.
