Gospel Life - Colossians 2:6-15

We continue in the Colossians sermon series.  This morning we will look at Colossians 2:6-15 as Paul continues to address the fullness of Christ.  Arguments that dilute Christ are all around us in this world, but they must be confronted with Scripture and the Gospel.  Paul says that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just some you received (past tense) but is at work (present tense) in you as we walk by faith.  Being “In Christ” assures us fullness and life.  It can be found nowhere else.

Mystery Revealed | Colossians 1:24-2:5

Today, we return to the Colossians sermon series that we were in before Holy Week. This morning we dig into Colossians 1:24-2:5 as Paul continues to delve into the value of Christ, the completion that Christ brings, and the fullness that is found in Him.  Colossians 1:27 states on of the anchor verses in the letter, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”  Paul’s ministry was and our mission is radically shaped by the mystery revealed, Christ in us, our hope for glory, our hope for fullness, and completion.

Who is Jesus? Mark 8:27-33

In this message, We welcome Rev. Mike Wenzler the Reformed University Fellowship pastor for the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.  We will be looking at Mark 8:27-33 this morning   The Gospel of Mark was written intentionally and had purpose. Mark deliberately wanted his readers to wrestle with 2 specific questions: Who is Jesus? And what did Jesus come to do? Implicitly, God's people are called to follow Jesus as disciples. But what does that entail?

The Resurrection Life - John 11:1-44

Resurrection Sunday! What a great morning to celebrate that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. We will explore John 11:1-44 where Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead and where he claims that he is the resurrection and the life. The resurrection of Jesus shouldn’t give us mere hope for life after death (it does though), but should dramatically change the way we live right now, how we experience our life now, and should anchor our hope now and for the life to come.
