Today in Worship…we are reminded of the necessity to not only worship the right God, but to worship God rightly. In 2 Kings 16-17 we see the northern kingdom, Israel, exiled into Assyria due to their idolatry. In Judah to the south, there is a form of worshipping the God of Abraham, but they do not fear the Lord and do not follow his statues. In 17:34-41 we have a summation that could apply to today, how generation after generation worship is corrupt.
